Sometimes being an artist is hard because people don’t typically get what I’m trying to do. There’s a lot of dealing with the dreaded word “no”, sadly putting my tail between my legs and sauntering off into the sunset alone 😂
Really though, I have a passion for amazing places and I’ve always had this obsession with sharing them with people through my photos.
I decided to do the quintessential “avoid highway” from a trip back from VT and I am so absolutely happy I did. I stumbled across The North Station Diner in Rumney, NH. I drove by it and contemplated turning around. Another decision I’m glad I made. Not only did they let me take photos there (imagine a random person dressed as an astronaut making strange requests?), they were just the nicest people I’ve met in a long time. This is the kind of establishment we need to all frequent and protect at all costs- an absolute gem of a diner with even better people running it.
