View in darkness-
The dark night of the soul can produce emotions so overwhelming that it limits our capacity to express them. It was such a night that this piece came to be as an outlet for the deep void that was open before me. It wasn’t until almost 2 years later that I revised it to bring more saturation and light to the centerpiece as a way of showing that even in the depths of our pain and our sorrow there is still hope for a future.
