Seraphina Frost was born to a family of witches who resided in the forest outside of town. When she was just a child, her parents were killed by a hunter who tracked them down. Seraphina was able to get away and ran into the forest. She was found by a woman who took her in and raised her as her own. This woman taught Seraphina how to use her magic and how to defend herself. When she was old enough, Seraphina left to find her own way in the world. She met a man named Erik Frost while on her travels. He was a mage who had been exiled from his home for practicing dark magic. The two of them fell in love and decided to travel together. They would often use their magic to help those in need, but they also used it for their own gain from time to time. This led to them amassing a small fortune. They began to hear rumors of a powerful magical artifact that was hidden away in a temple deep in the forest. Many had tried to find it, but none had ever returned alive. Erik convinced Seraphina that they should try to find it themselves. After weeks of searching, they finally found the temple. However, it was guarded by a powerful creature. Erik used his magic to distract the creature while Seraphina went into the temple and retrieved the artifact. As they were making their escape, the creature caught up to them and killed Erik. Seraphina barely made it out alive herself. She vowed revenge against the creature and spent years tracking it down. When she finally faced it again, she defeated it using the artifact she had taken from the temple. With Erik's death avenged, Seraphina returned home with her treasure.
