The artwork presents a contemplative universe that engenders a utopian, yet disquieting, terrain between obscurity and chromaticity, figurativeness and abstraction. It provides a platform for the spectators' musings to construct narratives that are removed, estranged, and on occasion, remote. The principal actors occupy the twilit realms of a self-fashioned society and can engender a sense of alienation from worldly concerns. Concurrently, the encircling world begets a glimpse of optimism through the opportunities proffered - a realm apart from social conventions and expectations. The neon-like hues imbue a sense of the supernatural and orderliness, which is accentuated by the artifice of the composition. The mechanisms of power pervade the entire social body, which runs through the painting as a cobalt dust, contrasting with social relationships and concepts.
