It was my final morning in Canada. I hadn't had a lot of luck with the weather and during my 2 weeks travelling around I had been unable to capture a sunrise with any colourful skies. Although my brain and body did not want to get up for one last sunrise, I decided that it was my only chance and rallied myself to this lake in the cold in the hope the clouds might give me a fairytale sky sendoff. As if Canada was blowing me a sweet kiss goodbye, the sun painted hues of purple as it rose and cotton candy skies entered the scene on cue to create this incredible picture. I sat in complete stillness as Canada sent me off in style. I'm glad I didn't turn off the alarm that morning and witnessed one of the most beautiful moments to remember for a lifetime.
