As I continue with my art I am mainly dedicated to not putting myself in boxes or compartments in regards to process, or style, or narrative. Daughters of the Sun, is a dialectic between memory and cultural heritage for me - Sunday mornings, Day landscape, teal spaces became littered with coloured for the years past. Expressionism has always been close to me and shows up in a dominant way in this piece which focuses on two figures one, at least to myself, calm, eyes closed, the other a more brut unreadable expression on their face.
