“Thriller: A study in sound, form and structure” is part one of a four part focus on exploitation films. In this piece: still photos and manipulated sequences from the film “Thriller: A cruel picture” are painstakingly reconstructed frame-by-frame to a beautifully haunting score designed to highlight the brutality and melancholy of the films subject matter. The result is a freeform work of video art that follows a ‘stream of consciousness’ in concert with sound; A 3-minute long mind melting attack on the senses. Content contains extreme violence and sexual situations, nudity, and drug use. Rainbow Variant #2 is a one-of-a-kind color tinted variation of the original. It replaces the original colors with a shifting color palette for the duration of the film. This NFT asset is a one of a kind Glitched Still from the film.
