Like Cryptoartists themselves, this biomorph too is a vanguard.
Biomorphs, discovered by Dr. Clifford A. Pickover in the late 1980s, are curiously biological-looking formations arising from a particular approach to visualizing the behavior of iterative equations on complex numbers.
Though decades old by the time I started to investigate them in the early 2010s, my curiosity and custom-coded approach quickly led me to recognize that the strange microbial shapes have yet to be uncovered in their fullness.
I came across numerous equations that raise the visual complexity noticeably from the more widely known forms, and through my early career became known for my exotic Pickover biomorphs, featured frequently among my earliest cryptoart works.
= The Innovation =
Cryptoart Biomorph, my first minted dynamic biomorph, is a significant milestone in my decade-long work with Pickover biomorphs, finally liberating these fundamentally four-dimensional mathematical entities from their simplest possible presentation as static two-dimensional slices.
The result of months of theory, experimentation, and coding, this first will be followed by dynamic biomorph series both this year and next, demonstrating the incredible richness and complexity of these fractal forms in ways no other algorithmic artist in the world has the knowledge and expertise to do.
