Manganese is a chemical element with the symbol (Mn) and atomic number (25).This element is in the (4th) period of the periodic table and in the (7) groups of transition metals. Manganese is not found free in nature and usually is found in minerals in combination with iron.
Manganese is also an essential human dietary element but It will be toxic if it use excessively. Manganese is named after the region of Magnesia in Greece (where many of minerals are mined).
