A sea of worn-out but resolute faces welcomed the train as it arrived at the busy Shibuya station. These were the toiling citizens of Tokyo making their way home from a long day.
They looked proud despite the weariness that was carved onto their features. They were the ones that kept the city moving and fuelled the nonstop activity that made Tokyo such a bright city.
They greeted one other with drained smiles as they made their way through the congested platform. They were all tied together in their common experience for a fleeting instant by the challenges and victories of the day.
As the train pulled away from the station, carrying its passengers home to rest & recharge for another day, one couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration and respect for the hardworking people of Shibuya. They were the heart and soul of the city, the driving force behind its endless possibilities.
