This work titled "IGNORANCE DEMONS" portrays a vivid dream where I envisioned the passengers in a metro carrying different demons on top of them. With each demon or creature symbolizing a distinct sin or evil that the person had inflicted upon him/herself. The artwork is a social commentary on the self-destructive nature of human beings and the consequences of ignorance and vice.
The demons that people carry represent their negative emotions, impulses, habits and sins such as greed, envy, anger, and pride. The purpose of this piece is to invite the viewer to delve deeper into the human psyche and the destructive forces that lie within. Ultimately, this artwork challenges viewers to confront their own demons and strive towards a more virtuous existence.
