In the scope of Ephemeral Ethernal’s participation at this year’s Non-Fungible Conference in Lisbon, Portuguese artist Alexandre Farto aka Vhils joined forces with North-American artist Shepard Fairey to generate an exclusive NFT, commemorating the collaborative mural they created in the Graça neighbourhood in Lisbon. Completed in 2017 and still standing today, this mural features a powerful composition of two women from different cultural backgrounds merging through their common humanity, reflecting the unique aesthetics of both artists in a feat of creative harmony. "In a numbing sea of digital screens and pixels, Vhils’ street art and fine art demonstrate that literal and symbolic depth still matter. His art is graphically alluring and viscerally tactile, but also existentially provocative because of his simultaneous creation and destruction.
