"Breakthrough" by Efdot is a video artwork exploring the life cycle of an idea through the digital canvas.
Inspired by liminal dreams and patterns found in nature, this piece evolves by decomposing and slowly rebuilding itself through a wandering web of lines and dots. The simple act of layering colors over time is taken to the extreme, resulting in quiet moments of stillness, emotional insight and contemplation.
As the colorful marks build up, they filter the once bright light, evoking a sense of being deep underwater and visuals resembling light-pierced stained glass.
