2 days per year the sunset lines up with the east/west streets in NYC. I had just come down from Top of the Rock when this awesome scene was revealed in front of me. It was incredible to see so many people out in the street during red lights to get a picture. To my right were a bunch of people standing in the street. I really tried to show life in NY set behind this rare moment.
