Jökulsarlon is a glacial lagoon bordering Vatnajökull National Park in southeast Iceland. The lagoon flows through a short waterway into the Atlantic Ocean, leaving giant chunks of ice on the black sand beach. In winter hundreds of seals cavort in the fish-rich lagoon.
