Taking a foggy morning stroll, NFTrex nearly tripped on a shroom in Fungi Forest! Nearly able to reach a mushroom to munch on, the hunched over dinosaur didn’t give up hope. The ravens could see that their new friend was ravenous, so they all crowed & cheered NFTrex on. Though one raven’s crow sounded more like a chuckle, as he watched the hungry dinosaur struggle for the snack. Sadly they had watched many dinosaurs struggle & starve here before, as shrooms became their dooms in Fungi Forest. NFTrex didn’t want this fatal fate & finally moved on without a single shroom but only a feeling of gloom. -Inspiration- This piece makes me giggle, for so many reasons. The inspiration is about my favorite artist, created in true Ryle Style. Allow me to talk about Kiszkiloszki! He’s a “fun guy” who creates trippy & tragically comical scenes with a feeling of hope that turns to death & despair through devious skeletons & fairies. He’s brilliant. There's mushroom in my heart for his work, while dark and different from mine, it's a joy to watch! His creativity, craft, and comical collections are truly an inspiration. Hence the reason this scene is in “Fungi Forest” with a feeling of comical despair, with fluttering butterflies to boot! After all, Kiszkiloszki’s work give me butterflies & I know you’ll feel them too when you see his work! -Details- Created by Illustrator & Animator Rachel Ryle, mixed media digital cel animation using stop motion techniques; 14-second looping film; mp4; 1080px1080px.
