As the sun began to set the rainbow faded & its stripes filled the sky with Rose colored clouds. NFTrex hopped into the water with hopes to catch a treat, but then something else caught the eye of the hungry dinosaur. Going out on a limb to wave hello was a friendly web designer! The skilled spider showed off his web & told stories about the networks he had made all over the LAN. Some he had to Digg for & others were True Ventures in the trees. Then with great excitement the spider shared about the third & biggest web that he’s working hard to build! Eager to show if off, he invited NFTrex to come see Proof nearby & meet the Collective of critters that are helping it to grow. Curious to see, NFTrex followed him into Firefly Forest excited to catch a glimpse of all the buzz…& hopefully meat some friends! -Inspiration- Serendipity is how I got into NFTs! My blossoming friendship with the Roses, led to Kevin Rose encouraging me to branch out by kindly inviting me to drop my Genesis Piece for the Proof Collective within Grails. A clever art collection that encourages collectors to find a true connection with the art, while revealing & celebrating the artists after the mint. Little did I realize that this mint was truly meant to happen. It was a redirecting of my artistic journey, a “Renewal” of my joy for creativity & an opportunity to cultivate community. Joining Proof as an Artist has caused me to grow in so many ways, while being amongst a Collective of Artists, Builders & Collectors who teach me, inspire me & support me to thrive. This piece celebrates them as a whole! I’m forever thankful for the Roses, proud of Proof, honored to be in the Collective, and happy to be a part of the buzz! I took a dip in the world of NFTs, and am so excited to be tangled up in the third & biggest web yet! -Details- Created by Illustrator & Animator Rachel Ryle, mixed media digital cel animation using stop motion techniques; 12-second looping film; mp4; 1080px1080px.
