描述
A long exposure self portrait of myself standing on the edge of a jetty looking out across the sea at an old burnt down pier.
My camera set up on a tripod I used filters to create the long exposure. A timed shutter action let me get in position for the image. A few attempts was needed to get it right.
Alone, surrounded by stillness as time stands still, nothing but my thoughts.
Photography is great for my own mental health, especially long exposure photography. This image made me slow down, standing still for 30 seconds focusing on nothing but shallow breathing and trying not to move.
Time can make things better.
The long exposure has calmed the sea.
The ruined pier is still standing strong after all this time.
