Stalking Trump performance 1998-‘99 I stalked Trump because he is a fraud and I loathed him and I related to that as a Fantastic No Body artist (which means fake person) I met him 5 times in NYC in a year posing as a “run of the mill” white guy sycophant and handed my 35 mm point and shoot camera to strangers to get a photo together. All 5 prints were later autographed by Trump at a sixth meeting in a gold marker that I supplied, at the Taj Mahal Casino, owned (and later bankrupted) by Trump in Atlantic City, NJ in December of 1999. I created a fake persona wearing a $20 second hand suit to become obsessed and addicted to my grotesque nemesis- an all American gaudy cheese-ball (who constantly offended the Elite in hilarious WWF ways) and to deconstruct my own complicity in what would be my most prescient work of art, (unfortunately) -I went on to even make a Trump For President 2000 poster (which did not exist before) in late 1999 and took it to the streets of NYC to see if people would actually vote for him in January of 2000. That day I encountered a Rage Against The Machine illegal live concert video shoot on the steps of the NYSE, being directed by Micheal Moore. I was recorded by the camera people and am in the RATM music video holding my Trump For president 2000 sign, now the subject of massive internet conspiracy theories about Psy-ops and time travelers. But who knew that everything so garish and tacky would become the extremist ideology of the future, Nobody did!!- the writing was on the wall and I sensed it though my work, a conceptual rabbit hole. In Trump I saw a particularly cartoonish version of what authority figures seemed like when I was a kid, and this made me understand America’s daddy issues and to want to explore the propaganda of it all by living and becoming it. In Trump as president I saw the logical black hole conclusion of American Dada, would it be so absurd of a reality simulation that we as country would collectively finally look within? I was stunned when he became President in 2016, my work had fully predicted the future!! The rest is history……
