In the heart of the serene Kuzhuppilly backwaters in Kerala, a solitary island claims its existence. Nestled amidst nature’s bounty, it features a humble dwelling surrounded by a handful of trees. To me, this image symbolises solitude, strength, and independence, qualities I admire.
As above, so below; the aerial perspective offers a top-down view, transforming the water surface into a mirror of the sky. Reflecting the vast expanse of the blue, dotted with cotton-candy clouds, it produces a surreal illusion that the island is gently floating in the heavens above.
This spectacle acts as a stimulant to one’s vision as well as imagination.
I hope this inspires you to seek out your own island, your own little haven of solitude.
