描述
I was born January 17th, 1993. My birthday is coming up, and soon, I'll be 30 years young. I want this piece to be a memento of this occasion; a way to look back and smile. I once believed that I didn't belong in the world of art, but I'm glad I pushed through those feelings and continued creating, even if at times, just for myself. Now, I'd like to share a piece of me with everybody else. May this piece serve as a token of good tidings, health, and love.
Chroma Code uses photography & A.I generated pieces that are often composited/modified using image editing software, then sent through an analog signal chain via conversion, which renders the edited image directly onto a CRT TV manufactured between the year(s) 1990 & 2002.
The signal chain consists of converters, modulators, circuit bent modules, & guitar pedals — all of which are working in tangent to color-grade, warp & manipulate the artwork displayed on the CRT TV. Each piece is then resampled in 4K using a DSLR camera, which captures the footage directly from the TV screen & is then imported into a video editing software for fine tuning & re-sizing.
This is a simplified explanation of the process.
Wouldn't be the person I am today without the help of all those who've stuck by my side.
