The series of CPPU-Hyper Super Fruit&Veg Machine originates from the manual sculpture created in 2020 to simulate 3D modeling logic by Artist Zhang Yongji. The artist uses 3D scanning technology to bring the fruit and vegetable sculpture back to the screen. The shape and texture of these fruits and vegetables are different from those in advertisements or supermarkets. The purpose of this project is to explore how the perfect image of fruits and vegetables can be artificially synthesized to achieve the purpose of consumerism. As consumers of these fruits and vegetables, how can we escape the cage of this exquisite image. So that it does not become the direct standard of our consumption.
