'Breathe up' represents the beginning of my journey in underwater photography. I was in Aruba for a job and extended my stay so that I could teach myself how to use an underwater housing for my camera. Every morning, I'd get up early, microdose and go swim with and photograph the turtles. I studied their every move and got to know them well. Despite the fact that green sea turtles can hold their breath for up to 2 hours, they need to return to the surface to breathe oxygen just as we do. This was a reminder that we as humans sometimes need to take time to pause and breathe in order to maintain our well-being and remain clear in our vision.
