A day when the temperature dropped below -35 in the mountains. But with the brisk air came an unforgettable experience in the Rockies as the fresh snow fell from the skies in the morning silence. I woke up early to explore the surrounding landscapes for wildlife before hitting the ski slopes in Lake Louise, and before I knew it I fell upon a scene I won’t ever forget. There stood a herd of elk, there wasn’t a sound in the air or a soul in sight, nothing but the echoing of antlers as the bull elks smashed together. It was incredible seeing their strength and dominance firsthand. It’s moments like this that you spend hours on the search for, but when it all comes together, it’s more magical than you ever thought possible. Hope you enjoy and thanks for looking.
