I was standing there in front of the big black monolith in the top right corner, the way it was when I first saw it when I saw T.V. coming down—I don't even know. Just look up. It wasn't just a giant box. It was a big rock, but he kept going—and he only kept going as long as it was going so he could see the sun. It was over and out of his sight when he went back into his seat in a hurry and I went around. And I saw where the great giant monolith was in front of me. And I saw where the giant wall of gold is. And I saw where the great gold statue (Hobbes) was. Well, we all did, but there was not. I thought this was just to play the game, of doing my best to make this giant wall of stones (Hobbes wasn't there): he saw where it was and he watched it.
