مْاریا مَریَم Maryam was the wife of Khosrow Parviz, one of the powerful Sassanid kings. She was a Roman prince and the daughter of the Roman emperor Maurice. In 590 AD, after Khosrow requested help and troops from the Roman emperor to help against Bahram Chubin's rebellion, Morris, along with the concessions he received from Khosrow, provided Khosrow and his generals with an army from the Roman army to take the throne from Bahram Chubin. And the rebels took back again, which is described in detail in the Shahnameh and other sources.
