This figurative and intuitive artwork brings to light the sufferings of elephants kept in captivity. I originally hand-painted this on a 3.5 feet X 3.5 feet canvas using acrylic paints. Elephants are often malnourished and overworked. Most are also beaten to submission. Notice the heavy burden on its back that handlers have it carry. There is a slight throbbing flash at its chest to signify the pain and sufferings.
