My career as an artist began when I gave up my engineering studies to pursue a degree in graphic design after my colleagues noticed that my drawings were “out of this world” and recommended I follow that path. That day my father told me that I would be of no use in life. His harsh words hurt me at the time but they were fuel to continue fighting for my dream Today I find myself in the age of the NFTs and perhaps because I am one of the older people in this community, it was difficult for me to understand how to start in this world. I was very frustrated to see that it took a lot of tech savvy to get started in this community, also having to own an iPad Pro and even hiring a developer to use the API. One day my youngest daughter showed me how to start by making a wallet in Metamask and an account in OpenSea, and step by step taught me everything I needed to get started. Thanks to her, I am here and I promised to give her 50% of the income generated to continue her studies in college. My Boogers collection is inspired by a 1996 sketchbook of mine that I pulled out of the closet. There I found many of those sketches that I drew so many years ago. Many of them related to boogers and strange creatures from my imagination. I am not going to put on my roadmap that I am going to make a donation to charity with the funds from my NFTs, because for me that does not offer greater credibility to my collection. All my life I have dedicated myself to making all kinds of donations, from love, monetary, volunteer and the most important, the donation of EMPATHY and COMPASSION to people.
