描述
This image is part of a collection of 20 highly rare and unique 1/1 aerial images made in Iceland, captured by a National Geographic published photographer, showing the beauty of Nature’s patterns repeating themselves endlessly, from the microscopic fractal arrangement of biological structures, to the braiding of glacial river channels.
You can discover collector’s benefits, detailed concept and story behind the images divided in chapters here: https://www.joseramos.com/fractal-visions-the-hidden-awe-from-above-nft-collection/
These images show fresh first snowfall patterns, deposited over the channels of a braided glacial river in the Icelandic highlands, captured from the air. There are plenty of fascinating aerials of Icelandic rivers, usually shot from high altitudes, but these are shots of a unique transient phenomenon, which did not last more than a few hours, as only the right amount of snow would be able to create this visual illusion, and on the next day all had vanished.
