Diving deep into ones own mental disabilities often comes with an unkind inner voice that tells one that they are unappealing-unworthy-incapable-deficient and the like. chr0nic 3ase is a juxtaposed piece depicting my own struggles with chronic anxiety and post-traumatic stress. deep within there lies an inner child who yearns to be celebrated and loved as she was neglected heavily in childhood. this is who this piece is for; all the wounded inner children within us all who we are doing deep healing alongside. beauty and self-worth is not perfect but rather it lies in the deep loving relationship with the imperfect. to create the work i utilised a mixed-media approach through; AI, PHOTOSHOP, AFTER EFFECTS, & MY IMAGINATION. *you are all worthy. the darkness within and without is always accompanied by otherworldly beauty, even if you dont realise it sometimes. xx
