This shot took me a few months to capture. Typically, when lightning filled storm comes over Cleveland, it is raining too hard to capture a good image. Side-ways rain, sheets that obscure the scene, water on the lens, and low clouds are just a few things to fight with. I think this was my 5th attempt this season at shooting a storm that was coming through and this was my first success. I hid beneath a highway bridge as close to the wall of rain as I could, zoomed in to frame the image, and waited hopefully. Needless to say, I was excited when I saw that I had captured it.
