This piece is entitled “Final Victory”. Why is it named Final Victory? In 1 Cor 15:55-57, the Word of God says “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. In Christ, we see two victories. On earth as we battle against the fallen world where we see sicknesses and diseases, we know that Christ’s death paid the price for our healing and wholeness. We have victory through His death on this earth in our mortal bodies. And even as this world fades away, our final victory comes when we fall asleep and return to dust in our human bodies, but our spirit is alive and with the LORD. Death has no hold on us on this earthly life and even in the life beyond us! What a victory we have in Christ!
