"Mayor Goldie Wilson" is by Harry Oh (b. Baltimore , MD. 1972- ) is a Southern Connecticut artist whose practice is focused mainly on multi-cultural abstract and figurative painting with complex color theories and a broad range of mixed media, but extends into sculpture, furniture making and graphic design. He was influenced early in life by his mother who was an art teacher, but he also studied fine art at The Museum School of Fine Arts in Boston, MA before entering the sign making industry. But he actually honed his technical skills years before with skateboards and spray cans, while growing up outside of Philadelphia and later New Haven.
