描述
(On the left) La Virgen de Regla is a Marian devotion that took root in Cuba thanks to European migrants who introduced and spread their devotion. Later, as a result of religious syncretism, Cuban Santeria also venerated her, relating her to Yemayá, orisha of the Yoruba religion.
(On the right) San Lázaro, saint of the Catholic Church, is associated with Babalú Ayé (orisha). This African deity is identified with old Lazarus, healer of leprosy, and people pray to him for healing and health in general.
