I am playing a modernized Faglung.
Consisting of two strings streched logitudinally this Faglung is very common in different types and sizes in the Northeast of Indonesia and the Philippines. Nowadays, it is very common in Mindanao and Palawan Islands of the Philippines. The navicular instruments are used by at least 20 different communities in Mindanao. They are carved from one piece of wood. The body is carved from the bottom part and the bottom part is attached to the body not to the cover.
