In collaboration with BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment, this Genies x PAC-MAN helmet has been designed by artist Gabriel Gimenez to show how PAC-MAN would look in the unique world of his art. “Over the years Gabriel has developed his main character, Fado, to become his own visual language. The character often communicates personal experiences and highlights icons of popular culture. PAC-FADO is a piece that draws direct inspiration from the original imagery and characters of the PAC-MAN video game as a way of honoring the immense influence that the brand has all around the world. The Genies’ helmet became the perfect canvas to carry out this narrative. Being able to utilize the back of the helmet to display the face of Fado while still keeping the original face of PAC-MAN, gives the piece a sense of union between these two characters.” Owners of this edition will unlock the rare Genies Wearable version of this helmet, redeemable to be worn and showcased on your avatar. At the time the Genies Marketplace is live in the coming months, any owners of this NFT will be able to transfer their NFT to the new marketplace, which will then unlock the affiliated wearable in their Genies App for these collectors to adorn on their own avatar.
