A series exploring the relationship between color, opacity and lines in generative art. The thought was to create a simple pop-art meets structuralist series to explore the nuanced and complex relationships between color, lines, and layering. The Images all start with a simple repeating cube pattern in the background. A layer of complexity is added with each square via color and an other via the patterned lines on the square. The goal was to come close, but never entirely obfuscate the background. The resulting series is chaotic, but legible, random but systemic. The overarching rules of the system delineate a plane of consistency across entirely unique pieces in the series.
