Don’t we all need some good vibes? Keeping a positive mindset can be a real challenge. It’s usually easy when everything works out, but it can seem impossible during more complicated times... I believe there is something worth living no matter how hard life can be. In my journey as an artist, I’ve learned to take a step back when difficulties come. The most important step for me is to focus on what I can control and keep moving. This piece evolves throughout your day, wherever you are in the world, depending on the sun’s position. It uses four images taken using infrared light with a full spectrum camera. All the shots were taken at the same time using three different filters to create four different times of the day. The filter IR Chrome for the day, 590 nm, and two different edits for the sunrise and sunset. The night shot is a composition of the tree taken at 720 nm, creating a beautiful dark blue sky, on which I’ve added the stars taken in the Swiss Alps. Special thanks to Transcient Lab for allowing me to adapt their work to my project.
