the night my dad died I didn’t sleep. at 5am I sat down at the piano and started writing. after the sun rose, I went to the studio. it’s how I process, how I heal.
this song is for anyone who’s lost someone they love, especially if it was to substance abuse.
i’m releasing it on the one year anniversary of his death.
