描述
Moonbirds are the mythic watchers and helpers hooting humanity forward.
Macronauts are the brave explorers of the Macroverse - Countless, interconnected "worlds" waiting to be discovered and explored.
Can a Moonbird be a Macronaut?
#2873 prepared to step through the portal into the unknown worlds of the Macroverse. He hoped the coordinates found in the mythic text would work with the JumpCore strapped to his back. As he steeled himself for the journey ahead, the Elders' words rang in his memory, "Only the bold achieve greatness..."
His drive for adventure was strong and his will was set. Even if he never returned to the sacred woodlands of the Odd God, he was confident that the risk would be worth the reward. As he stepped forward into the unknown, he repeated his mantra, "Hoot up and LFG!"

**Artists Note and Inspiration**
---
This piece of art is inspired by Moonbird #2873 and Project Bcc0-100 - a first of its kind performance piece, pioneering the interaction of blockchain and digital spaces, as well as conceptual network performances paired with cc0 assets.
I saw an opportunity to combine two things I'm passionate about: building the Moonbirds Comic project with the Moonbirds Community and developing the Macronauts as the meta story and official PFP for Macroverse, my web3 media studio and comics platform.
Inspired by the Bcc0-100 initiative, I decided to tease elements of both projects through this co-creation opportunity with @jusnothermfer and his Bird.
As a lifelong comics and animation fan, my artistic journey began as an illustrator and designer. Now, as a product and company builder, writer, and showrunner, I find myself falling in love with creative collaboration more than my own individual output.
When I do create my own work, I experiment with old printing techniques such as dot patterns and textures, overlapping colors, and blending modes. The clean and concise image that appears at a distance is made up of unexpected color interactions and rich layers of texture when examined up close. This style is a nod to the nostalgia of early comics printed on cheap newsprint, but with a new, digital twist.
For me, this visual language captures the past, present, and future of image-making through the medium of comics and character design.
