描述
During a trip to Bali in 2019, we visited the island of Nusa Penida. This island is home to some beautiful coastal scenery, and gorgeous landscapes.
One of the most iconic spots on Nusa Penida is Kelingking Beach, which has a rock formation that resembles a dinosaur head. Google it, it's pretty sweet. What some might not know is that there is a steep hike down the iconic rock formation to Kelingking Beach.
The climb down was quite dangerous. The guide rails were made of bamboo, scorching hot in the sunshine. I ended up going barefoot because my shoes kept slipping on the small dirt steps along the way.
This photo was shot down on Kelingking Beach. Many people don't make it all the way down to the beach. The riptides and forceful waves rolling in will knock you off your feet. The ocean has claimed the lives of a few people here over the last few years. It's a violent paradise.
