This very personal piece represents a life changing heart operation I had in 2019. The blood being blocked in the left eye represents the disease (aortic stenosis), the right eye the replacement mechanical valve that saved my life, silver skull and ring (I wear on my little finger) represent my peaceful acceptance of death the evening before the operation. My work is a representation of my transition from human being to Psyborg. From potential death to an improved life through technology.
