This animation is based on a past watercolor and gouache painting of mine. It depicts Kimbop, my alter-ego who lives in my imaginary world. He appears in many of my illustrations by the doodle dog, his best friend. Together they embark on adventures in my make believe world. Here they reenact one of my favorite childhood pastimes, watching Fireflies at night, accompanied by the forest dwellers, friendly monsters of the woods who help those who have lost their way.
