The calmness depicted in this image couldn't be further from the truth. Battling winds and a huge sea swell I stood my ground waiting for the right wave. The Vik coast is notoriously dangerous and I have witnessed people getting knocked over by waves and losing precious camera equipment here on a few occasions.
