Photography by Kevin Kerslake Exposure test on Paris Catacombs set of music video for Velvet Revolver's "Slither," which launched the supergroup comprised of Scott, Wasted Youth's Dave Kushner and Guns N' Roses vets Duff McKagan, Matt Sorum and Slash. One of eight music videos I made with Weiland over the years, including a follow-up with Velvet Revolver ("Fall To Pieces") plus several for Stone Temple Pilots ("Vasoline" & "Interstate Love Song") and his solo efforts ("Missing Cleveland") along with a couple of live concert films, Scott was an exceptional talent who always delivered mesmerizing, explosive performances. A commanding presence onstage, he was at the other end of the spectrum off-stage: shy, vulnerable, observant, filled with child-like wonder.
