Fiona Keane was born to a family of humble means in a small village in the middle of nowhere. As a child, she was always running off into the forest to explore and play, much to her parents' chagrin. They always warned her about the perils of getting lost in the forest, but she never listened. One day, when she was 10 years old, she got lost in the forest for real. She wandered around for days, until she finally came upon a small cabin deep in the woods. Inside lived an old woman who took her in and nursed her back to health. The old woman taught Fiona everything she knew about survival in the wild, and how to track and hunt game. Fiona quickly learnt all that the old woman had to teach her, and then some. When Fiona was 16, the old woman passed away peacefully in her sleep. Fiona decided to leave her home village and strike out on her own into the wide world. She became a ranger, using her skills to help others who got lost in the wilds like she did all those years ago. She has since gained quite a reputation as one of the best rangers around, and has even helped to foil a few plots against the kingdom.
