Seraphina was born to a family of angels who resided in the clouds above the mortal realm. She grew up watching over the mortals and their affairs with a great deal of curiosity. When she was old enough, she asked her parents if she could go down and live among them. They were hesitant at first, but ultimately agreed. Seraphina descended to the mortal realm and took on the form of a beautiful woman. She soon found herself in the company of a band of adventurers. They accepted her into their group and she fought alongside them against all sorts of enemies. During one particular battle, an arrow was fired at one of her comrades. Seraphina reacted quickly and flew in front of him, taking the arrow meant for him. As she fell to the ground, mortally wounded, she had time to see her friends vanquish their enemies before she succumbed to her injuries.
