A day that started with a lot of uncertainty ended with the most powerful storm I have ever witnessed. This storm trekked 110 miles (177 km) through New Mexico and into Texas. Many other cells popped up, but I had been following this one since it was a small updraft. As time ticked, it wrecked havoc across the New Mexico/Texas border with the most powerful inflow winds I have ever experienced. I could not open my car doors without opening a window since the wind was so strong. People were blown over and timelapses were rendered with a crazy shake. At night, those winds settled a bit as the storm evolved into a gorgeous supercell. A fun start to "The Great Clovis Summer Camp of 2023".
