“mr. butterfly” is an EP about keeping things light. When my dad passed away in 2021 I needed to get away. After the months of sadness I booked a one way ticket to Europe with no idea when I’d come back. I road-tripped through the Balkans with my best friends, found love in Amsterdam, and ate myself silly in Italy. I re-discovered an adventurous spirit and a lust for life. The last year or so has been a time of travel, experiencing new things, and enjoying the moment. The songs on this album reflect that sentiment: it’s fun, easy, and upbeat.
