This image is an all time favorite. Shot on film from the Staten Island Ferry as a thunderstorm rolled in over NYC in 1996, at the time it was just a cool weather shot. No photoshop. That cloud is all real. But after 9/11 this image has taken on a whole new vibe, with a sense of foreboding of what was to come. I'm offering it up for sale here for the first time on the 20th anniversary of 9/11. It seemed like a fitting time to do so.
